Members are expected to be baptised by immersion.

Why is baptism necessary for membership?

There is a strong tie between baptism and church membership. Firstly, because it is biblical (Acts 2:41) and it represents the public declaration of faith and becoming part of the local body of Christ.

Baptism symbolises the identification in the death, burial, and resurrection, of being with Christ (Rom. 6:4-5)
